I always visit Singapore ,i love the warmth of the locals there (english is their first language i think:), it's a clean city.You will never get bored there,too much shopping can be done everywhere you go,step out of the mtr and there is one every stop,Sephora,Cotton on, new look,river island,biggest forever21/topshop in asia and H&m this 2011.
And a special tip for all of you who will visit there, go to guardian and watsons and buy Avene products,la roche posay coz they sell it cheap! Shop at Far east plaza and 313 somerset.Visit Universal studios.
apply for tourist pass in every tourist counter in the malls so you can have discounts, eat in food courts (especially in ion -i love their chandeliers) order chili crab or white peppered crab, hainanese chicken/try bonchon (we have wee nam kee and bonchon already in ayala triangle) Keep your receipts for tax refund in the airport.
Lastly, stay in orchard coz the area is just too hard to resist.
